UW-MADISON OCONTO COUNTY EXTENSION -ST. JOHN'S LUTHERAN CHURCH - 7:30 AM

Following the winter storm that began Saturday evening and ended Monday, crews focused on snow removal and hauling operations from Monday through Wednesday.
Yesterday, one crew worked on installing a sewer lateral. M&E mobilized to the site and, with assistance from another crew, completed excavation of bore pits. M&E successfully completed their bore shot within the easement limits. They then pre-reamed with an 8-inch reamer and are scheduled to continue tomorrow with a 14-inch reamer, followed by pulling back the fused 10-inch pipe.
A water tie-in is scheduled for today on Pine Street, where crews will connect to the existing water main as part of the loop between Cedar Street and Pine Street.
Snow cleanup and hauling operations will continue through the remainder of the week. On Friday, a water tie-in is scheduled on E. Main Street to complete the remaining work in that area.
Crews plan to resume full operations next Monday with three crews focusing on lateral installations. At that time, there will be 18 remaining sewer and water laterals, one sanitary and water tie-in at S. Elm Street, and a sanitary main tie-in at Garden Ave. remaining.
