Here is the latest update on the State Highway 22 utility construction:

• Work on South Oak Avenue was completed today.

• Tomorrow, January 16, a crew will be working on the water service connection at the school.

• Beginning tonight, January 15, and continuing into tomorrow, January 16, the intersection of West Main Street and South Elm Street will be closed overnight and into tomorrow until the crew completes the work. Expect South Elm Street to be closed throughout the day.

Please avoid this area during your travels and plan alternate routes as needed.
